本机专门检测纸及纸板之耐折强度，试法是将试片两端固定于机上，下夹具施与所须之荷重，使试片承受一定之张力，下夹具在试片垂直状态下向左右两边往复弯折试样，弯折角度为135度，直到折断试片，并自动计数。
